Voir la rivière, accepter la tempête

In this work, I wanted to express a moment of life. Sometimes, we know very well what’s happening, and we prefer to avert our eyes from the situation. I wanted to highlight the importance of facing the reality that can sometimes be difficult to accept. Once this step is taken, one is still liberated from a burden.

The artist

Since childhood, I've had a pencil in my hand. Drawing has always been a part of my life, a way to express what I couldn't initially put into words.

Later on, I became truly passionate about it, wanting to understand what other artists convey through their works. It's easy for me to get lost in a museum, for example...

I took art classes where I learned certain techniques. This allowed me to explore different horizons, some of which really weren't my cup of tea.
For me, art isn't just for decoration or entertainment. There's much more to it than that.

There's also a story and an emotion that emanate from it.
